CURING AND DRYING

Curing or drying processes are often simply a case of adjusting temperatures and belt speeds for optimum results. However, there are instances where the product must be exposed to a specific length of time at a particular temperature. The curing of many thermal adhesives and epoxies fall into this category and are two of the many typical applications for ACCU-HEAT II ovens.

Whenever the application of heat is desired to accelerate a curing process ACCU-HEAT II ovens are ideal, allowing for continuous production, unlike ambient air drying, or batch ovens.

In cases where exposure to a specific, critical, time/temperature profile is required to initiate the chemical reaction the ACCU-HEAT II's exceptional precision is unbeatable.

In drying, the objective is to remove moisture, or in some cases a solvent, which may be on the surface or located throughout the product. Surface moisture can be removed very quickly in an ACCU-HEAT II convection oven, dramatically increasing productivity.

Moisture located throughout a product must migrate to the surface in order to be removed. Accomplishing this without damaging the product requires a specific time/temperature profile. The ACCU-HEAT II's unlimited profile capability and exceptional precision delivers a quality product, consistently, at the maximum rate.
