HEAT SHRINK TUBINGS

Heat shrink tubing is utilized to provide a tight covering, conforming to the configuration of an item, for a number of reasons, including: insulation, waterproofing, strengthening, encapsulation, strain relief, cable splicing or binding, marking and coding, just to name a few. Once in place it provides protection against heat, corrosion, shock, moisture, and other potentially damaging external conditions. For maximum value and technical benefit, it is important there be intimate contact between the inner surface of the tubing and the outer surface of the item; an objective that is not always achievable with alternative heating systems and is all but impossible with hand-held, operator dependent heat sources.

ACCU-HEAT II ovens are engineered and constructed to provide the uniform thermal environment necessary for even, consistent shrinkage regardless of product dimension or configuration. This is accomplished through the use of convection heat which produces a more even heat distribution than other heating mode systems. An internal baffle arrangement assures that the total surface of a product being processed is exposed to the same temperature without hot spots. The ACCU-HEAT II''s exceptional performance results in precise shrinkage and even substrate surface to tubing wall contact.

Non-load dependent, an ACCU-HEAT II oven produces the same quality product results whether processing a single item or when fully loaded.

With an ACCU-HEAT II the economic and technical benefits associated with the use of shrink tubing - material, manufacturing, labor, and productivity - are maximized.

ACCU-HEAT II ovens are utilized by numerous companies using heat-shrinkable tubing in the manufacture of medical devices, automotive components, electrical and electronic assemblies, tool and recreational implements, and numerous other products.
